


Your internet router broadcasts a WiFi signal around your house, allowing a whole host of devices (from phones to TVs, and Kindles to Amazon Echos!) to connect to the internet via WiFi. Wait, love – really?! Well, it used to be quite temperamental although in recent years it’s got increasingly stable. WiFi: WiFi is the standard we all know and love.For more detailed explanations, check out the specific sections later on. But either way, I wanted to briefly run through them below. Most of us have heard of WiFi and Bluetooth, and you may also have seen ‘Zigbee’ mentioned if you’ve looked into Philips Hue or the Amazon Echo Plus.
